How to learn and teach martial arts based on the principles of nature, in the modern world

Martial Arts movements can be created in an unlimited number, depending on personal ability. Around the world, the first generation of the modern martial arts from Korea were spread far and wide. Amazing skills demonstrated, showed the capability to push the abilities of those that had trained hard for many years, to the edge of human limitation.

Nowadays the skills of many people in western countries, often in better physical condition than many Asians, have been promoted and developed. In fact, these days, it sometimes easier to get more latest information in the martial arts etc. out of Korea.

So now what I would like to emphasize, is that, to learn and teach martial arts in modern times, should be for the ultimate purpose in life and for a better life for all around the world.

As much as I am able, I take great pleasure in teaching and practising with my students around the world, in the correct way, as I was taught by my great teacher. Thus I hope to pass on the skills of Haedong Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu in order that others may develop their mental, physical skill and thus also gain spiritual awareness of the laws of nature.

In time, I hope that my students will take over, continuing to pass on the knowlegde and skills for the betterment of future generations.

The most important thing to gain through our Martial Arts training, is to gain self awareness and realize that each human being, is but a speck of dust in the universe and then be able to achieve oneness and harmony with it.

Once we begin to understand all principles are interconnected in the universe, it will be easier for us to understand the truth, why we should serve and give a sacrifice to others and also why we should ‘live in the moment’. In addition we need to encompass the importance of sharing LOVE.
